Point B is an installation piece of nine spatial abstractions. Each piece represents an indoor space I have studied, including BWI Airport, Peabody Library and Cedars Sinai Hospital. The structural dynamics of a space directly influence the choreography of a person’s path between point A and point B. A high ceiling, glass wall panels, and sculptural pieces all have a role in the flow of movement through a room. I chose collage as a medium because of its physicality and analog nature, which allowed me to be more present in recalling my experiences in these exact spaces.
